CHILD PROTECTION

The programme aims at creation of an environment conducive for all children to enjoy their rights as provided for in the Republican Constitution, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC). Services provided include support for vulnerable children and prevention of abuse, exploitation and neglect of children through the national child helpline, child rights awareness among children and all other duty bearers and strengthening child participation through children’s corners and children’s parliaments.
