The Social Protection for Gender Empowerment and Resilience (SP-GEAR) Coordination Meeting is currently underway at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Led by the Government of Malawi in collaboration with the European Union (EU), Ireland, and civil society organizations.
The meeting brings together key stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and enhance strategies for empowering Malawi’s most vulnerable girls and women from Social Cash Transfer Programme (SCTP) households.
The discussions focus on improving social protection initiatives, reducing poverty, and fostering resilience through inclusive and sustainable interventions.
