Construction of ECD Centres

Infrastructures for delivery of ECD services are at different levels. Some are modern with all the required amenities and according to standards. Others are very poor built local materials such as grass and un-burnt bricks. There are 11,600 ECD centres across the countries which are not enough to carter for all children of eligible age for ECD Centre based services. The Ministry through the department has been providing resources to the district councils for upgrading and construction of ECD Centres.
